1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Punjab Saathi website (punjabsaathi.in) and the services offered by Punjab Saathi at our centre at Shop No. 1, Lal Market, Near OHM Omjee Cinema, Grand Trunk Rd, 143001, Amritsar, Punjab.

By using our website, visiting our centre, or asking us to process any application or service on your behalf, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Our Service

We help you apply for government documents, certificates, ID cards, and welfare scheme enrolment by filling out and submitting your application on official government portals, on your behalf and with your consent. We also assist with government job application form filling.

Our role is limited to assistance and facilitation. We do not issue government documents ourselves, and we do not control government portals, departments, or their decisions.

3. Your Responsibilities

To help us process your application correctly, you agree to:

• Provide true, accurate, and complete information and documents.
• Provide original documents for verification where required, and collect them back promptly after use.
• Inform us immediately of any change in your information that may affect your application.
• Pay the applicable service fee (and any government fee, where applicable) before we begin processing your application.

Punjab Saathi is not responsible for delays, rejections, or errors caused by incorrect, incomplete, or fraudulent information or documents provided by you.

4. Fees & Payments

We charge a service fee for our assistance in filling and submitting your application. This service fee is separate from, and in addition to, any official government fee that may apply to your application (such as application fees, stamp duty, or scheme-related charges).

Government fees are paid directly to the relevant government portal or authority and are outside our control. Our service fee covers the work we do — helping you complete the process correctly, on time, and without you having to navigate government websites yourself.

All applicable fees will be communicated to you before you confirm your request.

5. Processing Timelines

Any processing time we mention (verbally, on our website, or in any communication) is an estimate only. Actual processing time depends entirely on the concerned government department or portal, and can be affected by factors outside our control, such as:

• Government server downtime or technical issues.
• Department-level verification, field inspection, or approval processes.
• Public holidays, department backlogs, or policy changes.
• Additional document or clarification requests from the department.

We do not guarantee any specific completion date, and delays caused by government departments or portals are not the responsibility of Punjab Saathi.

6. No Guarantee of Approval

Punjab Saathi assists you in correctly filling and submitting your application. However, the approval, rejection, or issuance of any government document, certificate, or scheme benefit is entirely at the discretion of the relevant government department. We do not influence, guarantee, or control these decisions in any way.

Our service fee is for the assistance we provide, not for a guaranteed outcome.

7. Delivery & Pickup

Where a completed document is to be delivered to you, you may choose doorstep delivery (subject to availability in your area and any applicable delivery charge) or pickup from our centre. Please ensure someone is available at the given address, or promptly collect your document from our kendra, to avoid delays.

We are not responsible for delays in delivery caused by incorrect address details provided by you, or by circumstances outside our control (such as courier or weather-related delays).

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Punjab Saathi's liability to you is limited to the service fee you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss arising from delays, rejections, or errors by government departments or portals, or from information you provided that was inaccurate or incomplete.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any matter arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Amritsar, Punjab.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute regarding our services, please contact us first using the details in Section 13 below, so we can try to resolve the matter directly and promptly. We aim to respond to and address genuine concerns in good faith.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
